Another Hollywood wedding has been called off. Actress Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascolo, who were engaged for 3 years, have called it quits. The two originally started seeing each other in 2019. They met at Lake Como in Italy and sparks flew between them. Finally, Benjamin popped the question to her in March 2021 during the shoot of their movie ‘Time Is Up‘. So, what happened that made both of them call their three years long engagement off. Fans are very sad to see that their beloved couple has called it quits and gone their separate way.

The 24-year-old actress started dating Benjamin Mascolo in the year 2019. Soon after that, they got engaged on the set of their movie, ‘Time Is Up‘ in the year 2021. Just after the engagement, the star wrote “She said YES @bellathorne,” on Instagram with a picture of Bella showing off her stunning engagement ring. But alas, the happy couple ended up splitting up recently. What happened which was so big to break up the pair is the main question of fans.
A source confirmed that the couple has parted ways to ET. The source said that they “have broken up and called off their engagement of over a year amicably.” The main reason behind the whole scene was that “their conflicting and busy schedules led to a lot of time apart that resulted in the breakup”. Fans are extremely sad as one of their favourite couples have split up to go their separate ways.
When Bella Gushed About Her Ex-Fiancé Benjamin
In September 2020, Bella Thorne revealed how lucky she was to be dating Benjamin. “I got so lucky with my Ben. He’s really just the perfect specimen and I honestly don’t know how I got so blessed with him,” she said. “I love constantly learning about his life and his culture and his everything. [It’s] just so interesting when you date someone that hasn’t grown up with the same moralistic values and the same things as you.”
“There’s so much conversation to be had. So we really got to really know each other,” she added about their time in quarantine, adding that the “five months away from each other was hard…I got very lucky.” The split has pretty much made the fans disheartened.
