Gossip Girl’ fame Blake Lively took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the powerful dynamic between women, days after she attended the premiere of ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé‘. She particularly mentioned and praised Taylor Swift and Beyoncé in her post.

Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote in the caption, “When I grew up, women were always pit against one another. It took me until adulthood to see that the instinct for women to lift each other up to their highest potential is the norm, not the exception.

Blake Lively Praises The Approach Of “Aligning Rather Than Dividing”

Most of my best friends are women who would’ve been packaged to me as threats or competition,” she wrote. “It’s our job to show younger generations the power in aligning rather than dividing,” she added.

The caption was coupled with photos from the Renaissance” premiere, with one of the pictures featuring Lively and Beyoncé. Another photo showed an embrace between Lively and her best friend, Taylor Swift.

Revered as extremely successful musicians, both Beyoncé and Swift have both graced Hollywood with record-breaking world tours this year. Both also happen to have released films about their tours.

A few days ago, after the premiere of Beyonce’s movie, Taylor Swift had also taken to Instagram to thank Beyonce for her influence and motivation. Taylor had called her a guiding light and a source of inspiration for breaking rules and defying industry norms.

I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” Taylor wrote in the caption of her Instagram post with a boomerang video of her and Beyoncé inside the movie theater. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility,” she added.

She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale. 😇🙏🥹,” the Grammy winner added.
