Larson Talks About Leaving The MCU
At last year’s D23 Expo, the ‘Kong: Skull Island‘ actress was asked how long will she play the role of Captain Marvel. In a sarcastic manner, Larson responded: I don’t know. Does anyone want me to do it again?”
She further said, “I really don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that.” Her answer was in reference to the response her film got. Even though it was a major critical and commercial success, her performance apparently upset some Marvel fans who didn’t want a woman headlining a film.
Larson has also appeared in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and in the series ‘Ms. Marvel‘ as the character. She will be returning in the upcoming sequel, ‘The Marvels’. It will release on July 28, 2023, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
