Britney Spears is the unfortunate epitome of how early fame leads to puppetry, and it ruins the life of a star who was once touted as the pop princess! She debuted with ‘Baby One More Time’ at the age of 17, and since then has been disrupting the pop industry with timeless singles. However, the songstress’ life turned upside down when Jamie Spears was put under conservatorship due to erratic behavior.
Jamie Spears had control of Britney Spears’ life in every aspect, including finances and birth control. Instead of improving her life, the conservatorship became a deterrent. It further fuels her erratic behavior. After 13 years, in 2021, the court abolished the conservatorship and gave Britney control of her life back. However, the ‘Toxic’ singer has been displaying concerning behavior, which is evident from her Instagram posts. Britney’s kids admitted that their mother had drugs delivered to her. Now, her family claims that she is consuming an alarming amount of meth.

Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband, Kevin Federline, Believes That She Is Consuming Meth
During and after the conservatorship, Britney Spears severed relationships with her family. Spears has constantly made it clear that her parents are to blame for her conservatorship. She alleged that her mother, Lynne Spears, gave Jamie Spears the conservatorship idea.
It all started after her divorce from her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, in 2007. When Britney was suspected of having erratic behavior, her father imposed conservatorship. She lost custody of her two sons, Preston and Jayden, due to a psychotic incident.
Now, Kevin Federline suspects that Britney Spears is consuming methamphetamine, aka meth. As per Dailymail, Kevin said, “I fear she’s on meth; I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.”
Jamie Spears thinks that Britney may die like the singer Amy Winehouse, who was found dead in her apartment after an alcohol overdose. The singer’s children, Preston and Jayden, claim drugs get delivered to her, and they do not want to visit her.

Jamie Spears Thinks That Daughter Would Not Be Alive After Conversatorship Ended
In November 2021, Britney Spears was finally freed! The 13-year-long conservatorship finally came to an end after the singer pleaded that it should end without any medical or psychological evaluation. Jamie Spears controlled both the financial and personal aspects of Britney’s life.
However, in September 2021, the court suspended Jamie as her conservator and transferred the financial handling to a public accountant. Jodi Montgomery became her conservator.
Britney Spears is no longer under conservatorship, and Jamie Spears thinks that she would be alive without it. In an interview with the Daily Mail, he said, “Not everybody’s going to agree with me. It’s been one hell of a time. But I love my daughter with all my heart and soul.”
He continued, “Where would Britney be right now without that conservatorship? And I don’t know if she’d be alive. I don’t… For protecting her and also protecting [her two teenage sons], conservatorship was a great tool.”
