Cameron Diaz finally broke her silence on the long-standing rumors about her leaving acting because of her fellow actor Jamie Foxx’s meltdown on the set of ‘Back in Action‘. Her reaction came months after reports suggested Foxx was “making everything miserable” on the movie set, which caused her to “never make another movie again.”
Diaz starred in ‘Back in Action’ after a long time since she stepped away from acting to start a family in 2018, as reported by the New York Post. “Jamie Is The Best. I Love That Guy:” Cameron Diaz
Speaking on Molly Sims’ ‘Lipstick on the Rim’ podcast, Diaz she “really hates all of the things that were being said about our set at the time”. Deeming the rumors as false, she said, “Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun.”
The ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ star said that though there were many “hiccups” during the filming, they are the “natural challenges” that any given film production would face.
Diaz said the only unexpected delay during the film’s production was due to Foxx’s weeks-long hospitalization. “That’s something that is not my place to speak about,” she said, adding that Foxx is “thriving” now.

Cameron Says Jamie Foxx Was Graceful Enough To Let Rumors Fly
Foxx recently opened up about a mystery illness that left him unable to walk, during an award show. Though he did not spill out many details about his illness, he said that he has stayed resilient with support from his friends and family.
In an acceptance speech during an awards function, Foxx got visibly emotional. “I’ve been through some things. I wouldn’t wish what I went through on my worst enemy because it’s tough when it’s almost over … when you see the tunnel. I saw the tunnel — I didn’t see the light,” he said, teary-eyed.
Diaz recalled the time when the talks about his behavior on the sets first emerged and how Jamie was graceful enough to let the rumors fly without being much bothered about them. “When I see and hear people trying to take another person down like that … [Jamie is] so classy. He’s like, ‘Nope. Just let them [talk].’”
The ‘Back in Action‘ star has thus put a full stop to all the rumors about her co-star, asserting that the truth is quite the opposite of what Foxx was being portrayed as.
