In a playful jab at her Puth’s penchant for old-fashioned typewriters and poetic musings, Swift sand in one of her songs, “You smoked then ate seven bars of chocolate/ We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist.” The unexpected shoutout took many fans by surprise, and reactions were varied ranging from confusion to appreciation across the internet.

Some fans hopes that it would lead to Charlie Puth’s resurgence, while some others opined that he finally got the recognition he deserves because of Swift. “If anything comes from TTPD, I hope it’s a Charlie Puth resurgence,” one fan commented.

Meanwhile, it’s a big day for Taylor Swift’s fans as her much-anticipated album ‘The Tortured Poets Departmenthas been released after much teasing over the past few months. Over the past few months, the pop sensation has kept her fans on their toes as she unveiled the details of the deeply personal nature of the songwriting process behind the album. Taylor also revealed how the album served as a lifeline during challenging times in her life.
