Chris Evans, best known as Marvel’s Captain America, is putting his superhero costume aside and charting new territories. He recently signed Netflix’s ‘Pain Hustlers’ which will star him opposite Emily Blunt.

Netflix bought the global rights to the upcoming David Yates directorial film for $50 million at Cannes this year. Here’s everything to know about the film.

Chris Evans Joins Emily Blunt In ‘Pain Hustlers’

Wells Tower penned the script of ‘Pain Hustlers’. Lawrence Grey is producing the film through his Grey Matter Productions banner along with Wychwood Pictures. Director David Yates, who helmed four films in the ‘Harry Potter’ series and the first three films of its prequel series, ‘Fantastic Beasts’, described ‘Pain Hustlers’ as being tonally similar to ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘American Hustle’ and ‘The Big Short’.

The filming of the movie is scheduled to start in August. Besides ‘Pain Hustlers’, Evans is looking forward to the release of The Russo Brother’s ‘The Gray Man’ alongside Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas. It is set for a limited release on July 15, followed by its premiere on Netflix on July 22.

All About The Storyline Of ‘Pain Hustlers’

The movie revolves around Liza Drake (Emily Blunt), a high-school dropout dreaming of a better life for her and her young daughter. She finally lands a job with a failing pharmaceutical startup in an oldfangled mall in Central Florida. It’s her charm, guts, and drive that change the company’s fate and her own future. She starts living the elite life, but it doesn’t take long for her to find herself at the center of a criminal conspiracy that has deadly consequences.
