Though it has been more than a year since his son was born, the ‘Harry Potter‘ actor has managed to keep everything from his name to his face a secret. However, he has often talked fondly about being a father defining it as a “crazy and intense” experience.
Daniel Radcliffe Admits Fatherhood Is The “Best Thing” That Ever Happened To Him
Ahead of the 2024 Tony Awards, Daniel Radcliffe talked fondly yet again about his new role as a father, describing it as “the best.” Speaking with ‘E! News’, the ‘Harry Potter‘ star shared how it has emotionally impacted him. “I cry a lot more, in like a nice way. And yeah, it’s just the best thing that ever has happened to me,” he said.

When asked about the chances of it, he said, “Not unless he really wants to.” He further asserted that he does not want to stop his son from doing what he wants. “But if you can do something other than acting, if you want to do something behind the scenes, it’s a lot more of a healthy life in a lot of ways. If he can act and not be famous, great, then I can encourage it,” he said.

Daniel Radcliffe Missed Father’s Day But Had A Full-Fledged Plan For Delayed Celebration
During the Tony Awards, Daniel Radcliffe shared with PEOPLE that he had to postpone his Father’s Day celebrations due to the awards show falling on the same day. “I’m going to be doing most of my celebrating of Father’s Day tomorrow,” he said.
Speaking of his son, the actor said “I saw him in the morning and then went to [Tonys] rehearsal and then went back and saw him again. And then I had a matinee today, so I haven’t done a ton of hanging out with my son on Father’s Day, but I will be doing that tomorrow, and I’m very excited about it.”
In an October interview on ‘Today with Hoda & Jenna’, host Hoda Kotb asked if fatherhood was what he imagined. Radcliffe admitted at the time, “I don’t know what I imagined, honestly. But it’s great. He’s incredible and I’m just in awe of my partner.”
