Demi Lovato, the famous 29-year-old singer suffered an injury to their face. Although Lovato is okay now, recently they appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ and spilled the details of her treatment and recovery process, as well as performing their new single ‘Substance’.
Lovato also informed the host how they met with the injury. The singer’s next move after calling the doctor was to hit social media with the news. They jokingly added, “I did what any sane person would do and I made a TikTok before I even told my husband.”

Demi Lovato’s Love For Crystals Leads To Injury
Lovato shared that her love for crystals caused them harm. They got three stitches just above their eye after they picked something from the floor and hit their head on an amethyst crystal.
“I’m a huge fan of crystals, I have an amethyst that is literally about this tall,” Lovato continued while gesturing to the height of the table where they were seated. “It’s just really heavy and the pieces are sharp. Anyways, I went to bend down and pick something up and I didn’t see the amethyst, and I hit my head. I had to get three stitches in my face.”
Demi Lovato Interacting On “Substance” Experience
Despite the injury, Lovato appeared for the ‘Substance’ interview with a strong and confident personality. Reports said she wore a wig that fully covered her marks. At the end of the show, Lovato dropped the official ‘Substance’ music video.
“I’m so excited, When I started making music in this industry, it was pop rock and I was a huge fan of the Warped tour days, the emo days, and all that stuff. So I’m just going back to that,” Lovato said, adding, “I’m so excited to share another taste of what’s in store for this album. We can all relate to searching for something more in life. I want this song to make you feel like you’re having a damn good time while doing it.”
They concluded by saying, “The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself.”
‘Substance’ is the second single from Lovato’s ‘Holy Fvck’ album which will be released on August 19. The show will first embark in South America before moving to the United States.
