Just like his acting skills, Dwayne Johnson’s physical appearance has made him famous among the public. He has frequently shared pictures where he has flaunted his well-maintained body.
However, people might find it hard to believe that he underwent surgery to remove the appearance of his ‘man boobs.’ This was a result of some problem he was suffering from. Johnson’s last few projects have failed to receive a positive response and he is planning to return to his old form by reprising his role as Luke Hobbs in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.
Dwayne Johnson Had To Undergo Surgery To Reduce The Size Of His Breasts
While Dwayne Johnson’s physique has been loved by the public on screen, he also suffered from a problem where his breasts appeared too big and he had to undergo surgery to reduce their size. According to Dr. Anthony Youn, he was reportedly diagnosed with gynecomastia.
Youn stated that when Johnson was active as a WWE star, he was self-conscious about his ‘man boobs’ and he reportedly underwent surgery in 2005. It must be noted that the condition is very common and it affects around 70% of adolescents.
Youn revealed that the problem is resolved by itself most of the time. Johnson wanted to undergo the surgery because it was an “aesthetic thing” and he was already walking without his shirt.
