Towards the end of 2012, however, things got messy. The couple started having frequent breakups, which were often followed by them patching up. They would often separate only to start spending time together again.

During the course of their relationship, the couple often talked about marrying each other. In a clip, Selena talks about what she would name her future kid. She decides on ‘Emery’ and laughs before adding ‘Emery Bieber’. Justin, too, was countless times asked about if he would marry Selena Gomez, he often responded with a blush and a sly smile.

Hailey Bieber once posed with a magazine that talked about why Selena wouldn’t marry Justin. There are also reports of Justin having to resize the ring he got for Hailey, which led Jelena stans to quickly come to the conclusion that the ring was meant for Selena.

Justin and Hailey who are happily married now, have seen their share of hate as well.
