Roberto Garcia stated that Piqué requested Shakira for a loan so that he could invest it in other enterprises, but the mother of his children declined because her parents advised her not to. “According to what a person very close to them has told me, there has been an economic problem between the two,” Garcia told Spanish news outlet Diario. “They don’t mix their money, and they keep the family economy at 50%.”
He added, “Shakira fixed on Piqué because she liked him to be the father of her children. She knew she would never marry him.”
On June 4, Shakira parted ways with Gerard Piqué and they jointly released a statement. “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding,” it read.
Shakira Is Being Harassed Since The Separation
Shakira reportedly got disturbing messages from admirers pleading for her to marry them at her Barcelona home. The same was reported to the police by her relatives, including her brother Tonino Mebarak.
The shady stalker wrote, “I love you, beautiful woman. I’m coming for you, my love. I am ready to marry you right now.” This occurred only days after the Spanish sports star refused to allow the singer to travel to Miami with their children, Milan and Sasha, for the summer vacation.
