Did Eras Tour Film Announcement Break Strike Rules?
Well, how did Taylor Swift manage to film this movie despite the ongoing Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strike? In case you didn’t know, The Writers Guild of America went on strike on May 2, and SAG-AFTRA members followed suit on July 13. This led to the production of almost all films, television shows, and streaming content in the United States to be halted.
So did Taylor Swift break the strike rules? Well, no. Independent production businesses that are not members of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, big studio films, and streaming services, so SAG-AFTRA has so far approved 55 films to continue filming.
Actors won’t be able to work on films involving some studios since the union is at odds with AMPTP, which includes firms like Netflix, Warner Brothers, Discovery, BNC/Universal, Paramount, and Amazon.
Many independent firms got approval for the terms of the contract. This includes Swift’s documentary. There’s an interim agreement for these firms and their projects. A source confirmed to Bllboard that the concert documentary got approval under that agreement prior to filming.

All About Eras Tour: Concert Film
Taylor Swift revealed on social media that ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,’ would be released in North America on October 13. The US AMC Theatres will offer at least four showtimes daily from Thursday through Sunday.
“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” Swift posted on her social media with a trailer for the film. “Starting October 13th, you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theatres in North America!Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged. 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk),” she added.
