Henry Cavill has accumulated a huge fanbase for himself over the years for his flawless performances. But he is mostly loved by the public for his appearance as Superman in the DCEU and audiences still want to see more of him.
Cavill shared the screen with Amy Adams in ‘Man of Steel’ in 2013 and it is evident that the duo developed a close friendship by that time. Adams also admitted to objectifying Cavill and shared details of an incident involving her daughter Aviana.

When Amy Adams’ Daughter Touched Henry Cavill’s Bum
Amy Adams appeared on The Graham Norton Show in April 2023 where she revealed how her daughter created an embarrassing situation after meeting Henry Cavill for the first time. Adams said that although her daughter was a toddler, she was a big fan of Cavill.
Adams recalled that her daughter almost reached Cavill’s cr*tch. Aviana then tried to touch Cavill but as he turned away, Aviana squeezed Cavill’s butt. However, Adams was surprised by Cavill’s reaction to it as he replied by saying: “Like mother, like daughter!”
Meanwhile, Adams saw Cavill shirtless once and she even objectified him at the time. She said to Cavill that she was not so ‘pervy’ in real life.

Will Henry Cavill Return As Superman?
Henry Cavill was not seen as Superman for a long time since ‘Justice League’ in 2017. However, his appearance in the mid-credits scene of ‘Black Adam’ was a ray of hope for DCEU fans as they expected him to return in one project with Dwayne Johnson appearing alongside him.
But fans were disappointed when Cavill stepped down from the role.
The announcement came after James Gunn joined as the co-CEO of DC Studios. Gunn stated that he was writing a film for Superman for a long time and this was supposed to be part of the new lineup of films for DC Studios. Titled ‘Superman: Legacy’, the film is scheduled to be released in 2025.
