Kim Kardashian Wears A Pearly Dress At 2023 Met Gala
Kim Kardashian is known for her strong fashion sense as she has proven in the past at different Met Gala’s and fashion events. At the 2023 edition of the Met Gala, the SKIMS founder wore a beautiful custom pearly dress.
The 42-year-old donned a Schiaparelli nude bodysuit accompanied by a top and skirt made of around 50,000 pearls. According to Vogue magazine, the outfit was designed by Daniel Roseberry.
She beautified the dress with a silver choker, ruffled and long sleeves along with pearl earrings and ivory heels. Later, Kim also went to her best friend La La Anthony who works for the fashion magazine.

What Did She Say About Her Dress?
When Kim hit the red carpet, she was asked about the inspiration behind her dress. “I wanted to feel glamorous,” she said. “I just wanted to have a good time. I took a shot before I came with my sisters.”
The dress code of this year’s Met Gala was ‘In honor of Karl‘ with the collection titled ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty‘. Karl, who passed away on February 19, 2019, was also known for his controversial comments.
Kim also talked about the dress code. “I wanted pearls. What is more Karl?“, she said. “The iconic Chanel pearls is what I always thought of. We wanted to be dripping in pearls.”
As she was literally dripping Pearls, Kim revealed that her daughter North West “was putting them all in her purse.” North was accompanying her mother at the event.
