Although he is well-known for his muscular physique, Dwayne Johnson is using a bodysuit to help him portray the enormous demigod Maui in the upcoming live-action of ‘Moana‘.
Fans are excited to finally see the actor portray Maui in the long-awaited Disney project. Here’s everything Johnson revealed about his role in the film.
Why Is Dwayne Johnson Wearing A Bodysuit In ‘Moana 2’?
In an interview with Extra, the WWE wrestler and actor, who is now promoting the live-action film, was questioned if he had bulked up for the part. Johnson acknowledged that he couldn’t claim credit for Maui’s body, but he was happy that the costume looked realistic.
“That’s a suit that took a long time to put on,” Johnson said. “So, I’m so happy you said, ‘You bulked up,’ because when you say, ‘You bulked up,’ that means you couldn’t tell.”
He also added that apart from his bulky physique, Maui also has a lot of tattoos and it would have been difficult to get that transformation done every single day.
