People make transphobic and homophobic comments often but it comes with greater impact when a well-known personality makes it. Tesla CEO, Elon Musk recently made a lot of offensive statements against trans folks which also includes his trans daughter Vivian.
After Elon’s hate comments towards his daughter, including that she has been “killed” by a “woke” mind virus, Vivian posted on social media that she has disowned Elon and he’s no longer her father.

Grimes Voices Support For Vivian Jenna Wilson
After the hateful comments from her father, Wilson got a lot of support from people including her mother Justine Wilson, and even Elon’s ex-Grimes who shared her pride in Vivian’s identity.
Just 3 days after Musk’s transphobic comments, the popular singer comes out to support his daughter. She took it to X and said, “I love and am forever endlessly proud of Vivian.”
Earlier this month Elon Musk also shared his regrets with conservative commentator Jordan Peterson, expressing his regrets about not being able to save his son, Xavier, due to his transition. He said that changing his name is equal to “your son is dead”.

Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Has Disowned Him
A few days earlier, Vivian Jenna Wilson posted a video claiming that she had disowned her father. The 20-year-old said, “I disowned him, not the other way around”. The video is based on Elon Musk’s Transphobic comments towards her, which included her being “killed” by a “woke mind virus.
Wilson further added talking about her identity, “I’m legally recognised as a woman in the state of California,” and pointed to Musk’s comments as “desperate attempts for attention“. She further called out Musk’s fustian ideologies and misunderstandings about queer folks.
Previously, Musk claimed that he was tricked into signing documents that were her gender affirmation care during the pandemic. Vivian also claimed that those allegations were fabricated.
Wilson also criticized Musk’s portrayal of her childhood which was his assertion that she used to exhibit stereotypical feminine traits at a young age, calling it “entirely fake“. Vivian added that he was absent during most of her childhood and also opened up about her experience of harassment with femininity and gender identity.
