The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress, Emilia Clarke, shared her experiences of battling two major strokes of Brain Aneurysm. The 35-year-old actress said that she lost parts of her brain in 2011 and 2013.

Emilia Clarke Survived Two Brain Aneurysms While She Was Shooting For Game of Thrones
Emilia appeared on BBC One’s Sunday Morning on July 17. During the show, she shared about her post-aneurysm life.
Emilia said, “The amount of my brain that is no longer usable – it’s remarkable that I am able to speak, sometimes articulately, and live my life completely normally with absolutely no repercussions …… I am in the really, really, really small minority of people that can survive that.”
Clarke also talked about her brain scans. When she saw the scans she thought, “here’s quite a bit missing! Which always makes me laugh.” She also added, “Because strokes, basically, as soon as any part of your brain doesn’t get blood for a second, it’s gone. And so the blood finds a different route to get around, but then whatever bit it’s missing is therefore gone.”
