Actress Emma Stone‘s career marked another milestone as she entered the prestigious ‘Five-Timers Club‘ after hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ for the fifth time on December 2. Stone entered the elite club 13 years after her ‘Saturday Night Live’ debut.
The occasion was graced with several special guests and surprises. As she stepped onto the SNL stage at 30 Rock, Stone said she was honored to be a part of the exclusive club. Among the celebrities who joined her on stage was Tina Fey.

As Fey welcomed Stone, she also remarked that 35-year-old Stone is the youngest member to have entered the club. “At 35 years old, you are officially the youngest member. I am the second youngest at 53,” she said. Before Stone, the honor was held by Scarlett Johansson at 39, followed by Drew Barrymore at 48, and Melissa McCarthy at 53.
Candice Bergen also made a surprise entry on the show. She mentioned how the club has several amenities, including showers, a locker room, and a portrait with cut-out eyes for Martin Short’s playful antics, in an apparent joke.
Bergen shared the club’s evolution from “a quiet place to cry” to a “luxurious space for emotional release” as she welcomed Stone to be a part of SNL HERstory — the women’s section of the club.
As the ritual went on, Stone was also presented with the velvet, purple, and black official Five-Timers Club jacket. After Fey gave the jacket to Stone, she wore it happily, as she asserted that it was a childhood dream come true for her. She then went on to explore the jacket’s pockets.

To everyone’s surprise, she found a joint in the jacket’s pocket. “Oh, that must be Woody Harrelson’s jacket,” Bergen said. Stone then found a vaccine card. “Oh, then it’s definitely not Woody’s,” Bergen joked again.
Towards the end of the show, Stone expressed gratitude again for being a part of the show. “This honestly, this has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. And it means so much that I get to share this moment with you guys. So thank you,” she said.
The “Five-Timers Club” has several celebrities including Steve Martin, who has hosted ‘Saturday Night Live‘ 16 times, Tom Hanks who hosted it 10 times, along with Justin Timberlake, Ben Affleck, and Melissa McCarthy who have hosted it five times.
Stone hosted SNL in 2010 and even met her husband Dave McCary during another episode in 2016.
