‘Young Sherlock’ Will Introduce Fiennes Tiffin As Sherlock Holmes At 19
The new Sherlock Holmes-based Prime Video series ‘Young Sherlock‘ will feature Fiennes Tiffin in the title role. The series would be directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, and is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Written and executive produced by showrunner Matthew Parkhill, ‘Young Sherlock‘ promises an irreverent, action-packed origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective. It shows the popular detective in his teens, disgraced, raw, unfiltered, and unformed.
The 19-year-old lead character gets embroiled in a murder mystery at Oxford University that threatens his freedom. Despite his lack of discipline, Sherlock’s first case leads him to uncover a conspiracy that will change his life forever.
The executive production team of the show will include Simon Kelton, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Maxwell, Dhana Gilbert, Colin Wilson, and Marc Resteghini, with Harriet Creelman taking on the role of co-executive producer.
