Vice Presidential candidate J. D. Vance has been facing the female wrath after his misogynistic comments on women resurfaced, and Jennifer Aniston made sure to convey her displeasure with them. Vance has been chosen as the running mate by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
After the actress criticized Vance’s blow against democratic women, the Ohio Republican has now defended his statement as he readies up for the November elections. Here’s the full story.

Why Did Jennifer Aniston Slam J. D. Vance’s Statement Back From 2021?
In 2021, J. D. Vance made a problematic statement where he said that the country is run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made,” adding, “and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
“It’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” he can be heard saying in a 2021 video resurfaced on social media.
This statement led to citizens criticizing him for rampant misogyny. As the November elections get nearer, the resurfaced clip from the speech started making rounds on social media and caught Jennifer Aniston’s eye. The actress did not hold any bars criticizing Vance for them.
“I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States,” she wrote on her Instagram story along with a screenshot of the video. “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too,” she further wrote.

J. D. Vance Reacts To Jennifer Aniston’s Criticism
Showing up in one of the recent episodes of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show, J.D. Vance defended his comments, saying that his words were taken out of context and that he was just saying that Democrats were “anti family”.
He added, “You’ve got Hollywood celebrities saying, ‘Oh, well, J.D. Vance, what if your daughter suffered fertility problems?’ Well, first of all, that’s disgusting because my daughter is 2 years old. And second of all, if she had fertility problems, as I said in that speech, I would try everything I could to try to help her because I believe families and babies are a good thing.”
Aniston has not yet reacted to Vance’s response.
