Florence Pugh On Doing ‘A Good Person’
British actress Florence Pugh was in a relationship with actor-director Zac Braff from 2019 to 2022. They collaborated on Braff’s 2019 short film ‘In the Time it Takes to Get There.’
The former couple is collaborating once again for the drama film ‘A Good Person.’ In her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the 27-year-old actress said that it was her idea to cut her actual hair for the film.
“I was like, ‘Zach, I think I should chop my hair off at the beginning of the movie.’ And he was like, ‘The beginning of the movie – cool. That’s not gonna work,’” she said.
She told the crew who were worried about shooting it, “You’ll figure it out.” Braff tried to convince her to use a wig but Pugh was adamant about chopping off her hair for real. Pugh said that people were “really anxious” shooting that scene they only had one take to get it. However, she “found it really liberating.”

Zach Braff Was Inspired By Pugh To Make The Film
Braff, who is the writer, director, and producer of the film, has said that he was inspired by Pugh to make the film. “I’m just in awe of her talent and I said, ‘I wanna write this for Florence. What I’m writing is really gonna be challenging and she’s incredible,’” he said.
He then went on to call her “unbelievable” and he wrote a role that “wasn’t for your average actors.” The film, which also stars Morgan Freeman, tells the story of a girl coping with grief.
She then forms an unlikely relationship with her would-be father-in-law. The film is currently playing in the theatres.
