Although the third installment of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ was canceled, Andrew Garfield remains a beloved Spider-Man. Theories of Garfield’s return to the franchise arose after the post-credits of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. However, they have not been confirmed by Sony Pictures. Nonetheless, Garfield revealed that he is more than happy to return as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Sony canceled the third Amazing Spider-Man as the second film was not critically well received. Although it has a respectable collection of $709 million, it is the lowest worldwide-grossing film in the franchise. Moreover, rumors claimed that ‘The Social Network’ actor did end on good terms with the then-Sony CEO, Kaz Hirai. So will Andrew Garfield return to the Spider-Man franchise?
“I Love That Character”: Andrew Garfield Praises His Love For The Superhero
In a recent interview with Esquire, Andrew Garfield revealed how he felt when he first got the Spider-Man gig. The actor narrated that he called up his parents at 3 A.M. saying, “I don’t need those f**king business studies anymore, Dad!” However, Garfield might not be done with shooting webs and slinging off the roofs.
He said, “I would 100 percent come back if it was the right thing if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into”

He continued, “I love that character, and it brings joy. If part of what I bring is joy, then I’m joyful in return.” Garfield and his co-star Emma Stone became a power couple on and off screen during the film. On returning to the franchise, seven years later, Garfield said, “It was really healing for me.”

The actor and viewers are willing to see Andrew Garfield, but will he return to the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise? A new report from MyTimeToShineHello has claimed that Andrew Garfield is to collaborate with Sony for two ‘Spider-Man‘ productions.
Although Garfield has not confirmed it as of yet, he is known for telling quibbling white lies to cameras. The actor blatantly denied being back as Peter Parker despite a convincing paparazzi picture of him in the costume.
