What Happened To Rocky Johnson?
In a recent podcast, Dwyane Johnson talked about his father’s childhood and an incident that led to him being kicked out at 13. Dwayne shared, “Quick story, it was Christmas, my dad’s dad had died a year earlier. And there was a new boyfriend in the mix, he came over, and they had their Turkey.” He continued saying, “And the boyfriend got drunk and peed on the Turkey. My dad was 13, they got into a fight. And he drew a line in the dirt and said if you cross that, I’m gonna take the shovel and kill you. And he was drunk, crossed the line, and my dad at 13 laid him out cold”.
Further Dwyane described how the cops came after. They told his grandmother that when the boyfriend wakes up, one or the other person will kill each other. So his grandmother kicked out his dad at just the age of 13.

Dwyane Johnson’s Father Taught Him Wrestling
We cannot think of WWE without Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He is a third-generation professional wrestler and followed in the footsteps of his family. In 2008, Rocky Johnson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. But all of this would not have been possible without Rocky Johnson.
Initially Dwayne’s father did not like the idea of him becoming a wrestler. This was because wrestling was not such a popular sport back then. However, following a huge argument Rocky gave into his son’s wishes. Dwyane was also adamant about joining the family business.
The Rock said how wrestling saved his life and how much he fell in love with the sport. The rest is history. Under his father’s training, The Rock became the legendary wrestler that he is today.
