During the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, Swift got her viral moment when host Jo Koy made an inappropriate comment on how much the NFL shows her during games- a joke that Swift didn’t really find funny. Her response to it is now winning the internet.

Taylor Swift’s Reaction To Jo Koy’s Joke
Swift arrived on the red carpet in a stunning green gown, making it her first public appearance of the year. Her date for the night was Keleigh Teller and bestie Selena Gomez as the three of them were seen gossiping through the night.
As host Jo Koy took the stage for his monologue, he started with a couple of jokes – some of which the audience didn’t really agree with. He then passed a comment on Swift- commenting on how the NFL keeps showing her during games.
Koy said, “As you know, we came on after a football doubleheader. The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.”
Swift’s response is what won the internet. She chose not to laugh at the joke and pursed her lips while sipping on her drink and subtly glaring at the host. Koy then proceeded to apologize for the joke and move on to his next one.

Taylor Swift’s fans criticized Jo for making another joke about the NF L- something that has been constantly happening even after Swift tried to bash them. While many users seemed to think that Swift was simply overreacting and it was a harmless joke.
