Chris Pratt On How He Decided To Become An Actor
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chris Pratt said how the germ of becoming an actor bit him. “I was walking in the mall holding, I thought, my mom’s hand. And then I just looked up and she wasn’t there and I was lost in the mall“, he recalled.
He added, “I started to cry and some adult stranger, by the grace of God not some weirdo, found me and brought me back. We started looking around for my family [for] what felt like ages, finally found them – they were shopping and didn’t even notice I was gone.”
Pratt said that incident changed his perspective on life. “I think from that moment forward I was like, ‘If I’m in the room, I’m gonna be loud.’ And I’m gonna be noticed and I’m gonna make sure everyone knows I’m there just in case I get lost. They’re gonna actually notice me. I really think that’s why I became an actor.”

Pratt Compares Himself To Jesus
While promoting ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3′, Pratt talked about how he handles hate. The actor, who is open about his faith, has stated that he often gets trolled because of it.
While talking about it, he made a reference to the Bible and then compared himself to Jesus Christ. “That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too,” he said.
This comment wasn’t well received by people on the internet who started slamming the actor for comparing himself to god. ‘Vol.3‘ was recently released in the theatres and has been well received.
