There have been many examples of child artists who were affected by fame at an early stage in their careers and went into a spiral. After the Culkin brothers, one such example is Shia LaBeouf. The actor gained prominence after starring in Disney’s ‘Even Stevens’, which ran for three years. Later, he also starred in projects like ‘Holes’, ‘I, Robot’, and ‘Constantine’. However, when Shia became an adult, he fell into the hellhole of erratic behavior.
Shia LaBeouf became a troubled person as he started showing signs of extreme anger. He misbehaved on the sets of David Ayer’s ‘Fury’, where Brad Pitt had to intervene. He was also arrested for causing public nuisance and trespassing during the ‘Cats’ play on Broadway. Apart from a disturbed professional life, the ‘Nymphomaniac’ actor had a troubled marriage with Mia Goth since 2016, but he credited his wife and co-star for standing by his side while he was in a rehabilitation center.
Shia LaBeouf Says Mia Goth Gave Him Hope While He Was Running On Fumes
‘Pearl’ star Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf married in 2016 without registering for a marriage license. However, their relationship has been turbulent. The couple met during the filming of Lars von Trier’s ‘Nymphomaniac: Vol II’. Since then, there have been many ups and downs in their relationship, including a public fight that broke out in 2015.
Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf were not on talking terms before he was admitted to rehab. During ‘Real Ones with Jon Bernthal, LaBeouf talked about how Mia Goth faced heat from the media but still was present for him during his rehab days. He said, “She saved my f***ing life.”
Mia Goth came to the Family Week program at his rehabilitation center. The ‘Suspiria’ actress was present for him when he had “nothing to offer her.” The actor said, “She was present for me at a time when I didn’t deserve to have nobody in my life, especially her. She gave me hope when I was really running on fumes.”
