Recently, the Silk Sonic members decided not to submit their ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’ album to contest at the Grammy Awards. As per a statement, the members including Bruno are content with the abundant love to their single ‘Leave The Door Open’. Bruno Mars Won His First Grammy Award In 2011
After a failed EP, the singer released a summer song in 2010 ‘Just The Way You Are’. Despite mixed reviews from the critics, it became an earworm for the listeners. It peaked at No.1 for our weeks on Billboard. The song was certified Platinum 13 times by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA). It also gave Bruno Mars his first Grammy at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards for ‘Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.’
The next Grammy came his way in 2014 for his second studio album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’. It had thunderous success in the U.S. as well as overseas. The album debuted in the second position on Billboard 200 and was the fifth best-selling album that year. At the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, the album won the ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ award.
The artist shared the next Grammy with the British music producer Mark Ronson. Their collaboration on ‘Uptown Funk’ topped the chart for 14 weeks, the longest for Bruno Mars. At the 58th Grammy Awards, Mark and Mars bagged ‘Record Of The Year’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ for the song.

The Artist Rocked The 60th And 64th Annual Grammy Awards
’24K Magic’ aka ‘XXIVK Magic’ turned out to be a career booster album for the singer. It was his third studio album and it charted at No.2 on the Billboard 200. The album was infused with the R&B nostalgia of the ’90s. It was positioned as No.1 on the US Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums. It was Bruno’s Night at the 60th Grammy Awards, where he swept six awards including ‘Album Of The Year.’
Bruno Mars joined hands with Anderson. Paak released their debut album as the ‘Silk Sonic’ duo ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’. It charted at the No.2 position on Billboard 200. The single ‘Leave The Door Open’ was dominating the no.1 position on Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. The duo won ‘Record Of The Year’ and ‘Best R&B Performance’.
