    After four years of marital bliss, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas‘ breakup is creating quite the chaos in Hollywood. Starting with accusations of Turner being an apparent ‘party animal’ and a ‘bad mom’, to accusations about Jonas being less than supportive of Turner during their second pregnancy, the divorce surely isn’t going to be a short fight.

    Sophie Turner has now decided to turn the tables on him as she decides to sue him. What’s the reason behind this sudden legal force? And who does the internet believe to be the force behind it?

    Why Is Sophie Turner Suing Joe Jonas?

    Sophie Turner has sued Joe Jonas for ‘abducting’ their kids and taking them away to U.S. Turner’s legal representatives demanded “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.” Turner also claimed that she found out about the divorce through the media. The documents further state that “The Father has possession of the children’s passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother.”

    Speaking on the issue, Joe Jonas’ rep said, “This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst.”

    They further continued and said, “After being in Joe’s care for the past three months at the agreement of both parties, the children are currently with their mother. Sophie is making this claim only to move the divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the U.S. permanently.”

    The representative also spoke about the recent array of rumors surrounding Sophie Turner that paint her as a bad wife and a bad mother: “Joe has already disavowed any and all statements purportedly made on his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie. They were made without his approval and are not consistent with his views. His wish is that Sophie reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner. His only concern is the well-being of his children.”

    Now the internet has a sweet theory about who might have influenced this decision of Sophie’s. All the suing statements came a few days after Sophie and Taylor Swift were seen hanging out, locking arms.

    In her song Vigilante Shit, Swift sings, “Picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife.” Well, consider that to be a prediction of her friendship with Sophie Turner. The internet went into a frenzy, seeing both stars hanging out together. They now believe Swift is somewhat influencing Sophie to play the divorce game a little more smartly.

    Another fan posted a picture of Taylor where she is intently listening to Sophie Turner speak. They quoted a lyric from ‘Vigilante Shit’, where she speaks about being friends with one of her enemy’s ex-wives. She says: ‘Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride; picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife.’

    Many even joked that Taylor might have lent Sophie her legal team.
