Chelsea Blackwell from ‘Love Is Blind‘ season 6 has been facing heavy backlash for her claims about being a lookalike of Megan Fox. While Blackwell has been enduring the brunt of her statement from some ruthless trolls, Megan Fox has expressed her disappointment after finding out about her ordeal.
While talking with E! News ‘The Rundown‘ Fox talked about the intensity of the situation and how she thought it was unfair on Blackwell. “I don’t watch TV very much. But I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch “Love is Blind”?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about,'” she said.
Megan Fox herself has faced bullying and online trolling for most of her career. Being a victim of it herself for the longest time, Fox said she does not want the same to happen to Chelsea or anyone for that matter. “I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” Fox said.
“I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard. I did see a picture of her. A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox,” she added.
She also said she wants Chelsea to never lose her sparkle. “I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her,” Fox said. “Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. Best wishes and blessings,” she added.
“I’m So Sorry I Included You In This Mess”: Chelsea Blackwell Says She Apologized To Megan Fox After All The Backlash
Chelsea Blackwell, meanwhile, has been greatly affected by the trolling. The bullying went to an extent that she even reached out to Megan Fox to apologize to her for dragging her into this.
Previously while talking with E! News, Blackwell said she “reached out to Megan and I just apologized to her, like ‘I’m so sorry I included you in this mess.’” She added that the comparison “was such a silly comment that was made. This was a five-hour date and it just kind of came out“.
It is not the first time that a person who looks like a celebrity has been bullied for no reason. Countless times doppelgänger of celebrities like Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner are mocked for just living their life off of someone else’s identity.
