Britney Spears Talks About Sons Leaving Her
Britney Spears has had a strained relationship with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and as a result, their two sons. Jayden, her younger son, recently gave an interview where he talked about his mom.
Now the ‘Toxic’ singer has reflected on her sons leaving her in a series of audio clips on Instagram. “Literally, I have no purpose anymore. They were my joy. They were my everything“, she said.
The Grammy Award winner continued, “I look forward to seeing them. That was what I live for. And then all of a sudden, they were gone.” She also said she “used to have my kids at one point, way more” than Federline.
“I mean, people don’t remember that part because they always focused on the negative, but from when they were 6 to 9 years old, I had them 70 percent of the time. I don’t understand how it’s so easy for them, just to cut me off like that. I don’t understand it”, she reflected.
Jayden James Took His Grandfathers’ Side Earlier
Recently, her younger son Jayden opened up about his famous mother in an interview. “It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again“, he said.
He continued, “I love you a lot, I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again.”
Jayden then went on to defend his grandfather Jamie Spears who was responsible for Britney’s conservatorship. He said Jamie “doesn’t deserve all the hatred he is getting in the media. I love him, with all my heart. He was just trying to be a father.”
The pop star clapped back at him and said, “Do you guys want me to get better so I can continue to give your dad $40,000 a month? Or is the reasoning behind you guys deciding to be hateful is because it’s actually over in two years and you don’t get anything?”
