Kanye West was considered to be one of the most influential rappers in the hip-hop genre. Officially known as Ye, his short temper and weird opinions on certain things always landed him in trouble. However, he crossed all the lines this year with his anti-semitic tweets.
This led to widespread criticism and brands cutting ties with him and he was briefly banned on social media platforms. In a recent interview, the ‘Donda‘ rapper sparked another row of controversy by praising Adolf Hitler. Let’s find out in detail what Ye said.

Kanye West Praises Adolf Hitler
2022 was not the year of West. He first appeared wearing a ‘white lives matter‘ shirt, followed by his anti-semitic tweets. It cost him his billionaire status and his reputation.
The fashion mogul still isn’t in the mood to stop anytime soon. During an appearance on Alex Jones’ “Infowars” talk show, the disdained rapper went on to praise Adolf Hitler.
Ye appeared with his face completely covered in black to talk on Jones’ far-right conspiracy-theory show. He said that he “like[s] Hitler” and sees “good things” about the German dictator.
“You’re not Hitler. You’re not a Nazi. You don’t deserve to be called that and demonized,” Jones said trying to defend his anti-semitic tweets. To which, the rapper responded: “Well, I see good things about Hitler also”. “I love everyone.”

Ye Made Some Weird Claims About The Nazi Leader
West also went on to make some really bizarre claims about the genocidal dictator that he “invented the highways” and “the very microphone that [he uses] as a musician.”
He added, “You can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good, and I’m done with that”. “I’m done with the classifications. Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. How about that one?”
In the later part of the interview, Ye made antisemitic jokes about former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and mocked Jewish people.
His comments have received widespread criticism on the internet. Writer Mark Harris took to Twitter and wrote: “The Kanye horrors are laughable but also terrifying. When pro-Nazi rhetoric gets this kind of repeated public airing, the discourse eventually edges into ‘Well that was awful, but can’t we at least talk about…’”
