The ‘Mean Girls‘ actress started her career long before the film came out. Lindsay Lohan was a Disney star and had a couple of highly acclaimed films in her filmography
The most famous of which are possibly ‘The Parent Trap‘ and ‘Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen‘. As she churned out hits after hits, Logan became a household name and was one of the most popular actresses of her time.
Her most iconic role probably was as Cady Heron in the massively popular ‘Mean Girls‘ which has now become kind of a cult classic.
In later years, however, the actress took a different turn as he starred in more serious roles while also talking about her experience in Hollywood. If anyone wonders why Lohan completely disappeared from the public out of nowhere, here’s what she said.

The Reason Why Lindsay Lohan Left Hollywood
In an interview with Bustle, the actress said, “I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that’s kind of annoying. I wish that part didn’t happen.”
She added, “I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that’s why I wanted to disappear. I was like, ‘Unless there’s no story here, they’re not going to focus on just my work.'”
She also talked about how she keeps herself away from social media and its many forms of negative consumption and said, “Social media is so different now than when I was younger, that everyone has control of their own story. I don’t really pay attention to that. I don’t really read stuff that comes out either. ‘Cause I know how it works, so there’s no point. And if you immerse yourself in that stuff, you’re just going to get lost, and it can just do so much to you.”
Her upcoming film project is a romantic comedy, ‘Irish Wish’ that will come out on Netflix.
