“I Was Born This Way”: Drake Explains Why He Could Never Bet On Jake Paul Against Nate Diaz Even After Losing $250,000 Bet

Drake has grabbed headlines again after losing $250,000 as a bet on a UFC match. The singer is known to have placed bets on various UFC matches over the years. He enjoys the sport very much and likes to bet on the players.

However, Drake has lost bets of thousands of dollars before as well. He previously lost over $400,000 on Jake Paul after Furry won the match. This time as well, the singer bet $250,000 on Nate Diaz. And if he would have won, the ‘Bling Line‘ singer would have won $1 million. After the loss, Drake recently talked about it on social media. So let’s take a look.

After the $250,000 loss, Drake took to social media and posted a screenshot of his betting ticket via the Stake app and wrote in the caption, “Jake is a dog but I can never bet against a Diaz brother, that’s just how I was raised.”

Drake did bet on Nate Diaz but ended up losing the money. Nate Diaz is a MMA fighter while Jake Paul is a YouTube personality turned boxer. Drake had previously betted on Jake Paul quite a few times but ended up losing almost $400,000 on him.

This time he chose Nate Diaz. And although his Instagram story explained that he could not bet against a Diaz brother, it has to do more with his trying to recover from his losses with Jake Paul. However, Paul did hit back in the pre-fight promotion writing on his social media, “Drake losing his bet, should have played Betr Picks”.

His biggest win so far is with UFC legend Jon Jones. Drake bet $250,000 on ‘Bones’ to win by submission which happened just after the first round. In return, he got $1.7 million. The singer also bagged $1 million on former champion Israel Adesanya against Jared Cannonier.
