While recently appearing on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers‘, Bailey confirmed he’ll be returning for the fourth season of Netflix’s beloved period dramedy, ‘Bridgerton‘.

Jonathan Bailey Gives His Fans The Good News Of His Return To ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4
The storyline of the next season of ‘Bridgerton‘ is taken from Julia Quinn’s third novel, ‘An Offer from a Gentleman‘, so there’s great hope for more romance and scandals in true ‘Bridgerton‘ style. It will chiefly focus on Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson, and a love affair that he had with the mysterious Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek, as portrayed by Yerin Ha.
“Gonna reunite with the family next week,” Jonathan Bailey declared during a recent interview.. When asked if the show’s swoon-worthy Regency world ever grows tiresome, Bailey had nothing but praise for the series. “No. Well, it changes every year — every two years. What an amazing thing to be a part of,” he said. “There’s gonna be lots of space for new people to come in, and Luke and Yerin are gonna be great. So I’ll always pop back and say hello.”
Bailey’s words mirror what he said in his earlier statements regarding his eagerness to see the newer bunch of characters as they face the various problems of love within the ton. “I’m gonna be there to support the youngsters as we go,” Bailey said in August, during an appearance on ‘Good Morning America‘.
Jonathan Bailey Will Play The Advisor To The Lead In Season 4
Even though Jonathan Bailey’s character, Anthony Bridgerton, on the show ends Season 2 with Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), he is not yet leaving the show. He and Ashley will go on to advise their respective errant siblings. While it is not central to the story, he will definitely take up an important role in the narrative, and for his fans, perhaps that too is more than enough.

Otherwise, ‘Bridgerton‘ keeps Bailey busy. He’ll appear as Fiyero in Jon M. Chu’s ‘Wicked‘, alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, which hits theaters November 22. He’s also set to star in ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth‘ alongside Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali — and this one will hit theaters July 2, 2025.
