    Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige took the studio to new heights ever since he took control. At the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ premiere, he talked to The Hollywood Reporter.

    Talking about the recent change of leadership in DC with the introduction of James Gunn and producer Peter Safran, the 49-year-old said: “I speak to James almost every day.”

    We have a wonderful thing called the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ coming out“, he added. “We have a wonderful thing called Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 coming out in May.

    He continued, “How he’ll have any time to work on DC until May I don’t know, but once he does have the time I’ll be very excited. I’ll be first in line.”

    Feige Says The Sequel Will Honor Chadwick Boseman

    Feige also talked about the film and how it will honor the legacy of Chadwick Boseman. He said that the director “poured his heart and soul” into it which is “a tribute to [Boseman].”

    He said, “part of that you’ll see in the movie honoring the character and by extension the man, but also honoring it by continuing the legacy and the story.”

    Earlier, he had talked about not recasting the role of T’Challa after Boseman’s death. “It just felt like it was much too soon to recast“, he said. “Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we had talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do.”

    Feige further added, “The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And Ryan poured that into the story.” ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is slated to release in the United States on November 11.
