There is no day without Elon Musk being in the headlines. He has now taken up the position previously held by Kanye West. And Musk has a lot of things at hand at this point. With the acquisition of Twitter, the billionaire has had very few days without firing employees and being roasted on the internet.
There were two major changes by Elon Musk that really ticked off the general public. One was the $8 subscription fee for the blue tick with an addition of a few new features. The other was a mass lay-off of Twitter employees which counted up to 50% of the total staff. While all this was going on Elon Musk still had time for a laugh as he joined Ligma and Johnson in their prank.

Elon Musk Joins The Prank
Elon Musk fired so many employees from Twitter which counted for about 50% of the staff. This included even the CEO Parag Agarwal. Amidst all this chaos, a pair of pranksters thought this has the right time to make fun of the mass lay-off happening at the company. And the prank was perfectly-timed.
It was Rahul Ligma and Daniel Johnson, who appeared in front of Twitter’s headquarters weeks ago and staged a prank to get media attention. And they got want they wanted. They acted as fired employees of the company. Ligma and Johnson held a box of imaginary belongings, making the whole scenario realistic. The media unaware of the prank reported the two as data engineers who had lost their jobs.
But the internet soon caught up with the prank. So did Elon Musk. He joined the joke by tweeting, ” Ligma Johnson had it coming”. and deemed the two to be “one of the best trolls ever.”
The Tesla CEO went a step further with the prank. He posted a picture of the two pranksters with the Twitter logo behind them. He added a welcome back to Ligma and Johnson with the photo. “It’s important to admit when I’m wrong & firing them was truly one of my biggest mistakes,” he hit back to the ongoing criticisms against him.
This above tweet is his form of mockery against the trolls and criticisms he faced on the blogging site lately. Whatever Musk has done after acquiring Twitter in October has caused a lot of hue and cry. This involves the $8 subscription fee and also the mass lay-off. But the billionaire was not shaken by the protests and remarks and still remains strong in his decisions.

Firing An Employee Through Twitter
The new boss had on Monday tweeted that Twitter had been slow in some countries. “Btw, I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!” Musk tweeted.
One of the app developers at Twitter, Eric Frohnhoefer tweeted back, “I have spent ~6yrs working on Twitter for Android and can say this is wrong.” The tweet had instantly drawn so many likes. But it also drew criticism. Many opined that Eric should have approached the boss rather than expressed his dislike on a social media platform. To this Eric replied, “Maybe he should ask questions privately. Maybe using Slack or email.”
But all the tweets that Eric made on the platform, held him to be fired from the company. Musk marked them both and another account and tweeted, “He’s fired.” These quick decisions are really questioning the attitude and integrity of the 50-year-old CEO.
With all these latest developments, Elon Musk is under scrutiny in the eyes of the public. His decisions off lately as deemed him to be unreal. The series of layoffs have also caused advertising companies to classify Twitter as a ‘high-risk’ platform, due to the top seats being vacant.
