During Arnold Schwarzenegger’s appearance on ‘Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace ?’, he was asked if he was considering entering politics again. ‘The Terminator’ star, who’s also served as the former Governor of California, talked about he can be the one to bring the highly divided nation together. He’s sure of his ability to win had he been a natural-born US citizen.
‘The Terminator’ and ‘True Lies’ actor told Chris Wallace about his 2024 Presidential campaign being “a no-brainer,” saying, “I mean, it’s like me and California. And when that was, you know, running for governor, it was clear that people are looking for some new answer, not a right wing or left wing, but someone that can bring the nation together and doesn’t see the other party as the enemy,’
The former Governor of California added, “There’s just so many things that need to be done. And can be done. And what makes it so wonderful is because it’s doable. It’s all doable, or at least it’s just people coming together and say yes, we can do it.”

A lifelong Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first public appointment was chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports (1990-1993). ‘The Terminator’ star also served as the Red Cross ambassador between 1993-94. During his appearance on the talk show ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,’ Arnold Schwarzenegger announced his candidacy for the 2003 California recall election. He defeated incumbent Gray Davis to become the 38th Governor of California (2003-2011). During his time in the office, he tackled hot-button issues relating to same-sex marriage, global warming, political gridlock, establishing peace, and legalizing marijuana.
