In March this year, Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about her eating habits. “So I have coffee, but I really like soup for lunch. I have bone broth for lunch a lot of the days,” she said.
Her diet was without any proteins, carbohydrates, and other essential elements. The Goop owner also talked about her exercises. “I try to do one hour of movement, so I’ll either take a walk or I’ll do Pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson“, she added.
Quickly, people started slamming her for promoting unhealthy eating habits. Plus-size model Tess Holliday called out the actress for promoting “unsuitable meals”.

Hilary Duff Is Following Paltrow’s Diet
On Tuesday, Hilary Duff appeared on Lipstick on the Rim podcast where the former Disney star unveiled that she has been following Paltrow’s controversial diet plan, also called the “starvation diet.”
“Sometimes I try to, you know, Gwyneth’s in trouble for saying this, but sometimes I try to just drink coffee in the morning and starve off my hunger,” Duff said. The ‘Lizzie McGuire‘ actress said that she “wake[s] up really hungry.”
She said that she is “obsessed with those cauliflower rounds,” but also noted that she consumes “lots of calories” while preparing her kids’ lunches.
