‘Stranger Things’ Star Noah Schnapp Comes Out
Noah Schnapp is known for playing the role of Will Byers in ‘Stranger Things.’ After the fourth season premiered, Noah confirmed that the character he plays is gay.
The actor on Thursday posted a video on Tiktok coming out as gay. He wrote, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know‘”.
In the video, Schnapp is lip-syncing to an audio clip from a different video of someone saying, “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious.” The video was captioned, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.”

Schnapp Had Said Will Is Gay
In July last year, Schnapp confirmed that Will Byers is gay and is in love with his best friend Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard). “It was always kind of there, but you never really knew, is it just him growing up slower than his friends?” Schnapp said.
“Now that he’s gotten older, they made it a very real, obvious thing. Now it’s 100% clear that he is gay and he does love Mike,” he continued. Earlier, the actor had deflated the questions about Will’s sexuality.
A fifth and final season has been in development. The show’s creators have confirmed that it will conclude the story. It can be expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
