Jennifer Aniston Talks About Her Relationship With Social Media
In today’s day and age of digital, everyone is obsessed with social media. For celebrities, it’s another source of income and to be in touch with their fans. However, Aniston is one of the few who isn’t very serious about it.
In her interview for Allure magazine cover story, Aniston said: “I hate social media”. “I’m not good at it… It’s torture for me. The reason I went on Instagram was to launch this line.”
She further said, “Then the pandemic hit and we didn’t launch. So I was just stuck with being on Instagram. It doesn’t come naturally.” Aniston joined Instagram in October 2019 to promote her haircare company.
It caused such a frenzy that the app crashed for a short time. She currently enjoys 40.7 million Instagram followers but she is not that active.

Aniston Said That Stardom Has Changed Forever
The ‘Friends‘ star also addressed the ever-changing definition of stardom in today’s day and age. A piece was read out to her that said, “No one’s ever going to be famous the way she is. That kind of mass-fame phenomenon burning so bright for so long, it’s just not achievable today. She’s like a silent-film star among a generation of TikTok dipshits.”
“Whoa. Oh, that just gave me chills,” Aniston responded. “I’m a little choked up. I feel like it’s dying. There are no more movie stars. There’s no more glamour. Even the Oscar parties used to be so fun.”
In the interview, she also opened up about IVF (In Vitro fertilization) and pregnancy rumors over the years. “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,” she said.
