Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx was hospitalized very suddenly and very mysteriously last year. The news had left the internet with millions of questions. However, Foxx did not clarify anything regarding his health. Neither did anyone from his team.
However, in a new video recently uploaded online by a fan, the ‘Ray’ actor revealed the real reason behind his hospitalization. No official cause has ever been disclosed about the incident as reported by People. But Foxx described the incident as a “bad headache”.
Jamie Foxx Reveals The Reason Behind His Hospitalization
In a recent video shared online by a user named Brenda Combs, Jamie Foxx shares the reason behind his mysterious hospitalization. Brenda says in the video, “Saw @Jamie Foxx in downtown Phoenix today. He said April 11th 2023 he had a bad headache and asked a friend for an Advil. Woke up 20 days later with no memory of what happened. His resilience is truly inspiring!”
The ‘Day Shift’ star explained in the video, “I asked my boy for an Advil,” Foxx said and then snapped his fingers. “I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything. So they told me — I’m in Atlanta — so they told me my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor. … They gave me a cortisone shot.” He further said doctors had told him that “something’s going on up there,” pointing to his head. Foxx added: “I won’t say it on camera.”

Corinne Foxx Shared The News Of Her Father’s Recovery
Jamie Foxx’s eldest daughter Corinne Foxx told ET about her father’s health. She said that her father is “doing so great” more than a year on from the health scare. Corinne added that she felt “so grateful” to be working with her dad again on the musical game show ‘Beat Shazam’. This allowed her to “spend so much time with him”.
Corrine also revealed that her father has picked up a love of a new sport during his recovery. “He’s playing a lot of pickleball,” she said. “That man and pickleball, it’s like he’s playing twice a day every day.” It seems Jamie Foxx is doing much better now.
