Jennifer Aniston has kept her love life pretty private over the years, but her boyfriend Jim Curtis just gave fans a peek into how their relationship actually started.
During a new TV appearance, the hypnotherapist and wellness expert opened up about their “nearly one-year” romance, and his sweet confession made it clear that this wasn’t some whirlwind Hollywood fling.
Jim Curtis Reveals How He And Jennifer Aniston First Connected

Jim Curtis appeared on the Today show, where he opened up about his health and wellness work and his new book, ‘The Book of Possibility‘. But interviewer Craig Melvin couldn’t resist slipping in a few questions about Curtis’ relationship with the Friends star, and Curtis didn’t shut it down.

When Melvin asked how the couple met, Curtis kept it surprisingly relatable. “We were just introduced by friends. That’s it,” he said, explaining that they discovered they had mutual friends and started talking from there. Still, Curtis made it clear the relationship didn’t turn romantic overnight. “It took a long time,” he shared, and added that they chatted for a while, grew closer, and built a real connection before anything officially happened.
How The Relationship Went Public

Even before Curtis confirmed anything on TV, fans had already started connecting the dots. Aniston and Curtis sparked romance rumors back in July 2025 when people spotted them together in Mallorca, Spain. They spent time alongside familiar faces like Jason Bateman, his wife Amanda Anka, and Amy Schumer.

The couple later made things Instagram official in November. Aniston posted a photo with her arms wrapped around Curtis and added a heartfelt caption that left no room for doubt: “Happy birthday, my love, Cherished.” She followed it with a red heart. That post confirmed that their connection had moved far beyond rumours.
When Craig Melvin noticed him getting a little shy, Melvin joked that he wouldn’t put him on the spot anymore because he was “kind of blushing right now.” Curtis didn’t try to play it cool. He simply admitted it with a laugh, saying, “Okay, yeah, I sure am,” which made the moment feel even more genuine.
With nearly a year behind them, a Mallorca trip that started the buzz, and an Instagram post that confirmed it all, Aniston and Curtis seem to be stepping into 2026 steadily.
