Jerry Seinfeld Defends To Jimmy Fallon’s Defense
According to a Rolling Stones report, several former ‘Tonight Show’ staff members claimed the series had a toxic work environment, which included alleged outbursts from Jimmy Fallon himself. Two employees said they witnessed Fallon berate a crew member holding cue cards during the show’s taping with Jerry Seinfeld as a guest.
There was an incident where Jimmy Fallon scolded a crew member for flubbing the cue card. Jerry Seinfeld, who was present when this happened, is calling the accusation an “idiotic twisting of events.” Seinfeld Variety, “I remember this moment quite well…I teased Jimmy about a flub, and we all had a fun laugh about how rarely Jimmy is thrown off. It was not uncomfortable at all. Jimmy and I still occasionally recall it and laugh. Idiotic twisting of events.”

Jimmy Fallon Apologieses To Current Staff Amid Allegations
Hoping to control the narrative, Jimmy Fallon quickly arranged a Zoom meeting with the show’s staff. The staff that had nothing to do because of the strike assembled to hear what their boss had to say. The SNL star wasted no time asking forgiveness for his allegedly upsetting behavior.
Jimmy Fallon addressed the elephant in the room on his team’s Zoom meeting. The host said, “It’s embarrassing and I feel so bad. Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends. I feel so bad I can’t even tell you. I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive for everybody, it should be funny, it should be the best show, the best people.”
