    Depp owns a Kentucky horse farm which is situated on the outskirts of Lexington, Kentucky. It has a personal connection to the actor who was born in Owensboro, Kentucky. The actor bought the beautiful horse farm in 1995 for a modest $950,000. The price of this property has shot up since. It’s clear that Depp likes to not forget his roots.

    He owned a Bluegrass home which he sold in 2001 for $1 million before purchasing it again for $2 million in 2005. It was bought as a gift for his mother, Sue Palmer. The house is nicknamed Betty Sue’s Family Farm in her honor. Depp’s mother lived in the house till her death in 2016.

Depp has reportedly spent around $19 million on the 7,430 sq. feet house. The signature gothic-designed house has eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It also has a big swimming pool, a yard, and a parking space. There are around 35 to 40 bedrooms in the entire house according to some reports.

    Depp Owns An Island In The Bahamas

    Perhaps one of the most extravagant estates owned by Depp, the Little Halls Pond Cay Island in the Bahamas tops the list. It is located in Exuma Land and Sea Park, also known to be the first protected reserve on the planet. He purchased the island in 2004 for nearly $ 3.6 million. The actor had apparently spotted the paradise while filming for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘. He also owns another neighboring island in the area called the Osprey Bird Rock Island. The popular star often visits these islands whenever he is around or in the mood to spend quality time with nature.

Johnny bought this between 2007 and 2008, and the total worth of these penthouses is $12.78 million. Sprawled across 11,500 sq. feet, the penthouse has nine bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

    The actor also owns a mansion in England, near Quantock Hills in Kingston St. Mary. It is called the Somerset Mansion. The mansion is 150 years old and stands on 850 acres of land.  The 12-bedroom and eight-bathroom mansion was bought for $ 2.5 million. Depp also had to spend an extra $5 million on its renovation. He spends time on this property whenever he is in England.

    Depp was once married to French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis. In 2001, he bought a beautiful old French village. It is located in the paradisical Côte d’Azur area and the popular 19th-century Provençal hamlet is 17 miles away from the 15-hectare hamlet. The village was in a bad condition when Depp acquired it and he spent $14 million and an additional $10 million for restoration.
