Singer Justin Timberlake is making headlines yet again, just weeks after he was arrested and charged with DWI on June 18. The star was spotted running a stop sign while behind the wheel of his BMW X7 in Sag Harbor.
The DWI reports revealed recently have put him in further trouble over his demeanor during the sobriety tests. It is also being claimed that he has failed multiple tests and wasn’t cooperative with the authorities. Moreover, the case has reached the higher authorities, with heated exchanges between the prosecutor and judge. Here’s the full story.
Controversy Over Justin Timberlake’s DWI Arrest Continues
Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest from last June is now being viewed from a new angle after the DWI reports of his sobriety test have come out. According to the documents received by Daily Mail, the singer failed his sobriety tests which include the walk run and turn test, and the one leg stand test. He was expected to take these tests after the pullover incident back in June.
The report further claimed that he also refused to take a breath analyzer test. Furthermore, the reports also include notes from rookie police officer, Micheal Arkinson, who described Justin’s behavior as “unsteady”.
Atkinson wrote, “Bloodshot and glassy eyes. Odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from breath, inability to divide attention, unsteady afoot.”
At the time of his arrest, Justin had told the officer that he just had one Martini and followed his friend’s home. But Atkinson claims that during the tests, Justin was “very unbalanced” and “unable to follow instructions correctly.” While looking at the registration, Atkinson said Justin was unable to focus on speaking.

Justin Timberlake Has Been Attending Court Hearings Since His Arrest
Justice Carl Irace suspended Justin Timberlake’s license due to his refusal to take the breath analyzer test. Timberlake has been attending the court hearings remotely since he’s in Belgium for his worldwide tour ‘Everything I thought It Was’. For the second time, the star had pleaded to not put the guilty charges on him relating to the DWI case.
Following the hearing, Justin’s lawyer ED Burke told the press, “This is standard procedure with every DWI case. In New York, the suspension stays during the pendency of the case and is resolved at the end. Other states have similar regulations.”
Moreover, the judge and the prosecutor also had a heated argument wherein he argued that the Sag Harbor court case should be dismissed due to a procedurally “defective” report signed by the police. He insisted that Timberlake “wasn’t intoxicated”.
According to the New York Daily reports, the lawyer said, “The most important thing we have to say today is that Justin should not have been arrested for driving while intoxicated,” insisting authorities made “several very significant errors.”
