He shared an Instagram reel on March 14, zooming in on the figure’s face while playing the “Frolic” theme from ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ and he clearly didn’t hold back.
“What did I do to these people… This is an attack… Who in the f— is this??????” he wrote, making it clear that he felt personally wronged by the result. Hart even joked that these museums were trying to make him cry before demanding a redo. Even though his tone stayed humorous, he did not see himself in that statue at all.

Hart’s reaction quickly caught fire online, and people from across the industry weighed in. His longtime collaborator Dwayne Johnson had a completely different opinion. Instead of agreeing, Johnson called the statue “perfect” and said nothing should be changed.
Others weren’t as kind, though. Jameela Jamil bluntly said it was the worst wax figure she had ever seen, while Don Cheadle encouraged fans to go all in and share their thoughts. Jenni “JWOWW” Farley even joked that Johnson might have had something to do with it, keeping the tone light but clearly siding with Hart.

Rapper Lil Wayne also shared his disappointment after seeing his wax figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum. He said it didn’t look like him at all, though he appreciated the effort that went into it. Now, Kevin Hart’s reaction has added another unforgettable moment to that list.
