Even though actor Kieran Culkin finally reaped the fruits of victory by taking home the award for his role as wild card Roman Roy in a hit HBO series ‘Succession‘ at its first Golden Globes’ win, he still was not allowed to see an ending that so many adored.
The show completed four seasons last year when Kieran was busy filming in Poland working alongside Jesse Eisenberg in, ‘A Real Pain‘. Here’s why he still hasn’t watched his show’s finale.
Kieran Culkin Reveals Why He Did Not Watch ‘Succession’ Finale
Kieran Culkin recently appeared on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert‘, where he told the host that even though he’s in the episode, he hasn’t watched it.
“I’ve heard!” Culkin said of the rave reviews for the finale. “I mean, I was there. I read it, I was there for it, I know what happens—at least I think,” he added.
According to the actor, he faced an unintended delay when viewing the final episode because he could not open his Max account in Poland.

Kieran Culkin also revealed that his wife urged people to help him in an Instagram post. “People did! Everyone just gave over their email and password,” the actor shared, stating how while this allowed him to catch up on episodes eight and nine, the finale still slipped through his fingers.
So it was a hotel without a smart TV and a whirlwind of travel plans that never gave Culkin a shot at watchingthe finale. “You know when it’s like a couple months old? I kinda missed the moment. Does that not make sense?” he jokingly said.
