Kylie Jenner has opened up about one of the most emotional moments from her first pregnancy. The Kardashian star revealed that she was only 19 when she got pregnant with Stormi, and although she knew she wanted to become a mother, the thought of telling her parents left her terrified.
Kylie admitted she was “freaking out” at the time as she tried to process the life-changing news and prepare for the difficult conversation with her family. Years later, she is also looking back at another challenging chapter of motherhood, revealing that her second pregnancy with Aire was physically much harder than her first.
A Teenage Pregnancy Brought A Life-Changing Choice For Kylie Jenner
During a recent appearance on Therapuss, Kylie was asked whether she panicked when she found out she was pregnant. She did not hide how overwhelming that moment felt. “I was freaking out,” Kylie said, before adding that she was “really scared” to tell her parents. Kylie explained that although she felt afraid, something inside her already knew what she wanted.

She said, “There was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this.” At the same time, she knew she had to think seriously about the choice in front of her. The beauty mogul shared that she had to ask herself difficult questions before moving forward.
At 19, she had to think about whether she was ready for motherhood, what she truly wanted, and what she could handle. “I had to make a decision for myself,” she said, explaining that she had to think about what she really wanted and what she could handle.
Kylie also admitted she considered doing it on her own. She said that even if she had to do it alone, this was still the choice she wanted to make. Eventually, she told her mother, and the reaction was not as harsh as she had feared. “No one was like angry at me,” Kylie shared. “It was just… it was crazy. Crazy times.”
Jenner Says Her Pregnancy With Aire Took A Toll On Her
Kylie also reflected on how different her second pregnancy was. While speaking about her children with ex-Travis Scott, Stormi and Aire, Kylie shared that her pregnancy with her son was much harder on her body. Kylie said, “My last pregnancy, it really took me out.”

She explained that around 12 weeks into the pregnancy, she woke up one day and felt like something had suddenly changed. “It was like 12 weeks into the pregnancy. I just woke up one day and was like, ‘Oh, I can’t really walk,’” Kylie recalled. She said she had “crazy sciatica pain” and “crazy lower back pain” during that time.
What made the experience even more surprising was that Kylie said she had been in the best shape of her life before getting pregnant with Aire, whom she welcomed in 2022. However, the pregnancy quickly became physically difficult.
Kylie revealed that at one point, her doctor placed her on bed rest because she was dealing with so much pain and discomfort. She also shared, “I was three centimeters dilated for about a month and a half“. Kylie described the situation by saying, “The baby was like falling out.” According to her, her doctor told her, “You have to stay in bed.”
Kylie then opened up about the physical changes she experienced while carrying Aire. “I gained like 65 pounds with my son,” she said. “I was huge and ate everything.” The reality star also admitted that her nausea was intense during that pregnancy. She recalled eating ice cream, carbs, and bagels, and said, “I ate a pint of ice cream every night.” Kylie explained that if she did not eat, the nausea would get really bad.
