A former housekeeper at Kylie Jenner’s Hidden Hills estate has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the reality television star and two staffing agencies, alleging she endured months of “severe and pervasive harassment” and was “treated with hostility and exclusion” because of her race, national origin, and religion.
Angelica Vasquez, a Salvadoran woman and practicing Catholic, filed the complaint on April 17 in Los Angeles Superior Court against Jenner, Tri Star Services, and Maison Family Services. Court documents detail Vasquez’s employment from September 2024 to August 2025 at Jenner’s sprawling Calabasas-area home, where she claims supervisors created a “toxic and abusive work environment” from her first day on the job.
Key Allegations of Discrimination Against Kylie Jenner

According to the lawsuit, head housekeeper Patsy and supervisor Elsi, along with other staff members, routinely assigned Vasquez the most difficult and undesirable tasks while excluding her from the rest of the housekeeping team. She was “publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion,” the filing states, and subjected to repeated discriminatory and derogatory comments about her faith and immigration status. One supervisor allegedly told her, “Catholics are horrible people.”

“Plaintiff was treated with hostility and exclusion,” the complaint reads. Vasquez says her complaints were “dismissed, mocked, or ignored,” and that no corrective action was taken by supervisors who witnessed the behavior.
Allegations of Retaliation and Escalating Abuse Raise Serious Concerns

When Vasquez spoke out, the alleged retaliation intensified with increased workload, reduced hours, false accusations, and disciplinary warnings.

The harassment escalated in March 2025 when, the suit claims, “things got violent.” A supervisor “threw hangers at [her] feet while reprimanding her.” By July 2025, Vasquez had developed “anxiety, severe stress and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder,” forcing her to take medical leave. Upon her return, “the hostile conditions continued,” the filing states, until “the working conditions had become intolerable” and she “had no choice but to resign” in August.
What the Former Housekeeper is Seeking in the Lawsuit

Vasquez is seeking unpaid wages, meal and rest period premiums, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave, and other compensation, along with damages for emotional distress and punitive damages.
Jenner, 28, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics and a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family, is named as a defendant because the alleged conduct occurred in her home. However, the lawsuit does not accuse the star herself of discriminatory behavior. Representatives for Jenner did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The case highlights ongoing tensions in high-profile celebrity households, where staffing agencies often manage domestic workers. Vasquez’s attorneys argue the environment was so hostile that any reasonable person would have felt compelled to quit. The defendants have not yet filed a response in court.
